What exactly does this sign mean? I mean by it's position and location, does it mean no pedestrians entering that particular village? No pedestrians leavining? We are walkers (as in exercise walkers) and we were staying in Belvedere and we walked out of the village and then some. Probably 3-4 miles. Do you mean this is no longer permitted? It sounds strange for a no pedestrian sign in the villages.
