If you have a need for very high bandwidth, CenturyLink offers 1000 megabits per second (1 gigabit per second) for those with fiber optic to the house (I believe everyone south of 466a, not sure about other areas). I don't have 1 gigabit per second because I don't have a requirement but it is available (about $100/month I believe). I have 40 megabits per second for $35 per month.
