To the OP: The problems you relate are not unique to Spectrum. I have CenturyLink Prism, TV and internet. A few months ago I called them to request some promotional discounts to lower my cost. The agent said she was able to reduce my cost from $200 to $146 and increased by internet speed to 50mb. I was happy. The tech came and replaced my modem which was required for the higher speed, but the new modem used 4 wires instead of 2 so I lost my phone line in that room. That also meant that I lost fax capability. Another service call was necessary to get my phone service in that room back. I also got a letter detailing my new service and it showed that my TV package had been increased to the next tier. The agent neglected to mention that. Then the bill came and it was $214! Then I found out online that there are 2 class action suits against CL in Colorado and Arizona claiming that CL agents sign up customers for unrequested services to boost their monthly quotas. I called CL again to request that they put my service back to what it was. Interestingly, the agent was adamant that she couldn't do that until I mentioned the lawsuits. Silence on the phone! Finally, my latest bill was $157. All of this took from late June/early July to my October bill. Whew!
