I would not be happy with my sales agent. He/she "screwed up" and there is no other way to put it. If the Agent is relatively new, I could see how this could be missed because most Villages allow two dogs. However, you should not be in this position.

Options at this point are few. Given the situation you can probably get out of the contract and move on to another house. If you really want the house, then I would close and tackle the issue with an attorney should there be an unlikely attempt to enforce the deed restrictions.

If you have not already sat down and talked to your Sales Agent, I would do that immediately. He/she may want to bring the sales manager into the conversation. This should be done prior to closing. Good luck to you. The Villages is really a great place to live,
