We have a President who has attacked almost ALL American institutions. Today he totally maligned our entire justice department.

I have no clue what Trumps motive might be. For sure, it involves his ego for sure. He has successfully lied about his personal finances, continually violates all ethics rules and thus he just gets richer.

I am not like Rubicon, or his friend Gracie or their friend BTK. I name those three and point them out because I recall all 3 on the original political forum. They expressed conservative views, as I did. I actually considered them allies at that time.

When I came back on here, and read their posts, I mistakenly thought they were simply angry at OBama, and for that reason supported Trump because he was the only alternative.

I find that in all 3 cases, I was absolutely wrong. I won't say they were all extremists wY back, because I do not know. Now, they are all extremists with no doubt. I thought all 3 would simply find how Trump lied, etc and would simply put the country first.

All 3 represent my worst fear. The extremes among us have come, and they care not about truth or anything moral. It is only about the win....nothing else. They will use any conspiracy theory...any lie to support what thevsee as a winner.

A presidency based on lies, injustice, accusations cannot survive. My fear, and those 3 are examples. They are gone, infested with this cancer of lies, and when Trump goes down, and he will, if not because of Russia something else. His followers who are now lost in the myriad of lies and deceptions are now at his behest, waging a cultural war, not political. At least that is how I see it.

What happens in this country when this goes down. Trump will only go in a nasty way, because it is his way. What happens to our society. The destruction, as many have always predicted, will be from within.

These are un American people, rolling themselves in my flag, desecrating all that made or makes this country great.

Did you notice at the hearings today, all the social media sources used by the Russians and how they were meant to divide us. So many sites, supposedly for support of police or white peoples. It actually makes you tear up at how you read posts on this site, grounded in their "version" of the truth, that are complete profession of those sites.

We are looking in the abyss....we are seriously under attack right now. Obviously, the Russian tactic of destroying a free press is on top of the "to do list".

These folks I mention sincerely believe their lies, easily shown as lies, are true. Those kind of people simply terrify me.
