The deal had to have approval from the State Department first. The State Department would not have approved that deal without consulting with the President ( Obama) Hence the remaining sign offs were in a manner of speaking "when asked, volunteer." ie rubber stamped.
Logic should prevail here. Who in their right mind would allow Russia that much access to an element such as uranium with the potential for making WMD?
Why would America release 20% of its supply? And to no other than a prime foe of America. Why hadn't America been that generous to a friendly nation such as Great Britain? Why Russia? Why Russia?
Is it a coincidence that Billy boy got a $500,000 speaking gig in Russia? Most of us can't save that much in two lifetimes.
Or that the Clinton Charitable Foundation received a substantial infusion of cash from Russian sources at the same time.
But what makes this issue even more believable is the dubious caliber of the people involved who had the power and authority to make this sale possible, and their greed and politic of internationalism.
The problem with discussing politics today is that there is such a wide partisan divide, that people mistakenly focus on their party being right when the focus should be on both parties doing right by America.
And, it is all exacerbated by a contingent of people with identity politics, whose only goal is to obstruct and bring down this nation.
In my view neither party is of benefit to voters any longer.
Someone should go to jail for allowing the Russians to get their hands on such a large supply of uranium
