YOU are correct in general.

This is a local issue and one that I do not think ever passes.

In every one of our states, there are statues or plagues honoring someone who one of us would not like.

To your comment on transformation......I think, and this is my opinion, if you exclude folks from the process as much as you can, they will then use whatever process they can to be recognized. THAT is what we have been doing for years and now are making it clear that exclusion is, in fact the goal.

As a loyal Republican, I now feel totally excluded from the party for which I worked hard, and understand those being excluded from the process in todays world. My exclusion from the GOP will never allow me to embrace them again.

I personally think much of this kind of obviously misplaced loyalty it because of exclusion from other facets of society
