ALL of the major main stream media report facts. That includes the networks and the major newspapers.

I speak of NEWS, not commentary. Example, I will use Fox only because it is most prevelant there. If you watch the NEWS, it is accurate......but they swing right from the news to commentary and that is where it gets skewed. That even is on all the cable networks as well. I would never suggest getting all your news from cable or even television......not for lying, but omissions and context. Nightly network news is pretty accurate but sort of squeezed for time, so you will never get it all on there. The cable news channels spend too much time on analysis without making a distinct determination and I used Fox because they have become so much in a hurry to go editorial with their message it is hard to discern what is real and what is not. They also have too much presentation of conspiracy theories.

Print media is pretty accurate actually. They all have opinions but the NEWS is accurate. I also think because they can also omit, not major stuff, but little things, everyone should read more than one source. I use Reuters, AP, and a few others depending on how much time I have available.

VERY FEW of the online ONLY sites give you facts, and most supply terrible misinformation. Using websites is a mistake unless it is part of the main stream media.

If we did not learn from the recent hearings how we are being manipulated shame on all of us. My big thing on here is how poster use an email they got as part of large mailing (always in accurate), or a website that shares their views whether liberal or conservative and those all of course have a habit of omitting facts or distorting.

We are supposed to make our decisions based on actual news, yet we allow ourselves to visit websites that consistently present what we already believe and thus just reinforce, even if full of lies.

I avoid websites unless they are affiliated with a main stream media outlet.

Notice how so many on here are loathe to show where they got the facts they are presenting or what they used to come to a conclusion ? Because it is easy to debunk those kind of things. We have had a few posters who when they did supply a link, it was A Russian sponsored or official Russian site.

The bot situation that is coming out slowly now should not be ignored.

Trump followers think it is neat because THIS TIME, they appear to be the beneficiary, but if we stay lazy and do not object, we are at the mercy of those who reduce what brain cells we have to mush and it could be any movement or political theory.

These bots are hell bent on sowing discord and hate among us....look around....it is working.
