Interesting how some people just continue to ignore the realities of life.

One can embrace reality and have it work for him or ignore/deny it and have it work against him.

We thank people for their service because they are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect their loved ones by protecting our way of life.

Despite what Burns said in his PBS documentary concerning the Vietnam war the actual truth is the vast majority of servicemen were proud to serve.

The enemy is always vigilant and when I hear or read someone mocking servicemen it raises my antennae and
by their comments they define themselves.

In honor of our veterans I will continue to abstain from watching any NFL and given this is veterans weekend I hope many join me.
