Bimmer if you need a specific date I guess I can't help you. My reference of course from the Pledge of Allegiance, which was published in 1892. It was modified 3/10/1954 and adopted in June of that year. Eisenhower said:

"These words [“under God”] will remind Americans that despite our great physical strength we must remain humble. They will help us to keep constantly in our minds and hearts the spiritual and moral principles which alone give dignity to man, and upon which our way of life is founded".

So I suppose the best answer is pick a date, a time and one would be right. By the way those words were protested back then by special interest groups as it continues today.
History is full of religious references that this nation was founded upon...no particular party, no particular religion.

For those in the majority, 86%, we believe the country needs to revert back to the concept of representation by representatives continuing with the world wide accepted position, "the majority rules". The needs of the many exceeds the needs of the few. As opposed to the linguine spined, permissive pacifist, cater to every special interest group, try to please anybody and everybody political concept of today.

As has been stated time and again as in the video.....that majority is and has been silent, hence they get what they deserve...but some of us do cling to the hope they will be awakened to reverse the notorious "non representative representation" we have in Washington today that mysteriously finds rationale to respond to the minority!

I didn't mean to stray from the question but I just can't pass up any opportunity to hammer on my favorite subject(s).
