My health insurance will cover it. But, if you have uninsured motorist insurance, the health insurance company will try to collect money from the auto insurance company. That is what I mean by having redundant insurance. I am not going to pay twice for the same thing. Uninsured motorist coverage is not required in Florida, so if you don't buy it, the health insurance company has to cover you, as they should. But, if state law requires that you have uninsured motorist coverage, then your health insurance company can expect you to have it and hold you accountable if you don't.
