I did ask the lady at the table this morning and showed her my card. She said January 1st Silver Sneakers is going away, but Optum is replacing and is free. She said call the number on the back of your card after January 1st and tell them you want in the Optum program.
I've been going 5 days a week since May 2014, and it gets really crowded every snowbird season. I guess the few that we lost to Anytime Fitness because of Silver Sneakers, will be coming back. We might get some new people, but half the people I see now on any one day, I've never seen before. It seems they give them a clip board and show them the machines, but they lose interest after a few days and move on.
