Default Re: OBAMA

We’ve had good presidents with little experience and bad presidents with lots of experience. The really undecided voter should focus on policies, judgement, knowledge, intellectual capacity, character and the candidate’s advisors. Obama has had 10 years of experience as a legislator. If I recall, Bush had only 6 years, and look at what a poor president he's turned out to be - not necessarily from his experience level, but based on his poor decisions. for being so "inexperienced", Obama made a well formed decision when he voted against the Iraq war.

If you're really interested in Obama's experience and accomplishments, go to this link:

I am not so hung up on the experience issue although it counts (See George Will's newest book for a good discussion of this issue) but I could not agree more with advisors and character. This includes, at least to me, background where character is built and I hope that all look deeply into this. Jessie Jackson's son(Sen Obama's co manager) once said after the SC primary that Sen Obama was acting "too white" and I expected him to go after that...didnt and that dissapointed me, but I would ask everyone to do just what you asked Lil Dancer....check on character and advisors and background...very important !
