Liberalism back then meant a belief in minimal government. Liberals sought only a wise and frugal government and a government that left citizens free to regulate their own destiny. Liberals believed in the magnanimous view of human nature as was reflected in the Declaration of Independence They believed the differences of men rest with the issue of "nurture" vis a vis "nature" and hence a priority was education.
Liberals back then believed in an optimistic and confident future for the New Republic. And they believed that America was the chosen nation and the world's best hope and hence had a special role in fulfilling is future.
Quite a contrast from today's liberal party where its favorite president viewed American exceptionalism no greater than any other nation.
Liberalism today that demands equal outcomes vis a vis freedom to pursue one's own destiny
Liberalism today that favors and nourishes big and intrusive government
Liberalism today that demands people's lives be dictated by government regulations and policy.
Liberalism today that believes citizens and non citizens alike are entitled to live off the government.
Liberalism today that supports and encourages acts of non-patriotism (NFL)
Liberalism that applause's acts of treason (Snowden) and desertion (Bergdahl) in the face of enemy.
Liberalism that defends and protects criminal behavior (illegal immigration Sanctuary cities)

WHITE people can be left free to "regulate their own destiny"...black and brown people cannot. You can look at a list of countries ranked to prove that point...white countries and Asian countries that follow the "western" ways are ALWAYS at the top. The black/brown countries are ALWAYS at the bottom. NEED I say more?
Because back then...ONLY white people were considered...people. The blacks were sub-human and so were the various "brown people" including ALL the American natives. The WHITE people are who the founders are talking about.
And they were RIGHT...white people...America WAS 90% white up until the 1960s...made America the greatest country on earth. #1 in the world at the end of the 1950s.
Liberalism is the WILLFUL changing of the demographics from white to black/brown. Liberalism raises the incompetent...due to genetics...to an artificially high level which is unsustainable.
You CANT bring in monkeys to run your machinery, run your company, run your town or city...or run the country.
The minorities are becoming the majority and we white people won't be able to carry that many. About HALF the minority population receives benefits from the government. About HALF the minority population takes more than they give/produce. The population of the country is now MORE that half minorities and in 30 year they WILL BE 80% of the population and "America" will be no more. It may still be called "America" more likely "Estados Unidos" in the new vernacular.
America falls farther...EVERY day...as America becomes LESS WHITE...EVERY day.
It's causation people that is WHY I want you all to go to MLK Blvd and SEE what the growing minority majority is REALLY like. That IS the 99%...not the propaganda you see on TV and in the movies...that is what they WANT you to believe ALL minorities are like...just like you and me...the REALITY is...the REAL 99% live around MLK Blvd and ACT like those who live along MLK Blvd!
Save your great granddaughters virginity...don't let the minorities become 80% of America. If nothing happens to stop it...it's mathematical certainty...like compound interest their numbers are rising...fast.
