IMHO you just can't predict the weather based on past incidents of storms. I moved to Miami-Dade County in 1966 and hadn't experienced any hurricanes until August 23, 1992......... when
Andrew came to visit.
I survived and my 1926-built-historic home survived.
But, I will never forget the aftermath and its impact on the area.
It doesn't hurt to BE PREPARED for the storm and BE PREPARED for the aftermath! Just in Case
