Post Good Luck.

You will probably find several threads that discuss spine surgery.

I seem to recall that Medicare will not cover treatment at Laser Spine Institute, but you may need to research it.

I have had extensive spine surgery which did not have a happy outcome due to nerve damage and cutting many nerves.

I will say that my first surgery, kyphoplasty for three crushed vertebra, went quite well with minimally invasive surgery by Dr. Ronzo (partner of Dr. Bono.) They have moved their practice to Tampa as Bio-Spine Institute. They accept Medicare and other major insurance. Back Surgery Tampa | Spine Surgeons | BioSpine Institute

I had other issues related to injuries that my primary care physician felt required extensive surgery, and I had that done at Shand's Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Although everyone at the hospital was friendly and helpful, and I had top rated doctors, my condition has not improved due to extensive nerve damage, and I am in a wheelchair.

I wish you success.
