Many of the students would remember the murder occurred on my birthday. Mrs. Barbara Mitchell announced it to the class when she got back from recuperating from the grief and it was soon all over the school. I had mentioned it to a few students as to why I was so happy when I walked into that class on February 25, 1976. I had just got gifts the night before during my birthday party.
