The embassy is not the building.
What I don't understand is that Israel is a sovereign country. They have a prime minister, a legislature, and a judiciary. Isn't it up to them to determine where their capital is?
If they tell us the capital is Jerusalem, then that where we put our embassy. Why is it up to us to "recognize" their capital?
