Those shoes look great! I think it is hilarious that they call them Mary Janes. Mary Jane was never that fashionable!
I remember when my daughter was little that there came a point in her upbringing that getting her to do something that you wanted her to do became more difficult. It used to be that you could say "If you do this, then I'll take you to get some ice cream." That always used to work! Then she got older and the bribes had to get larger. Finally, it gets to the point where you can't afford the bribes anymore. And I discovered something that worked ten times better anyway. Embarassment! "If you don't do this, then I will offer to chaperone the dance at your high school." Worked like a charm. It sounds like you are telling me that those powers are still available to me. I must try them out and let you know how it goes.
"Bring the grandchildren to my house on Saturday, or I will show up at your work asking to buy some KY jelly and a bunch of condoms."
Just might do the trick.......
