Monastics pray for others, do good works, spread Christ' love. Monastics do not speak ill of other people, nor do they bear false witness, or otherwise break the 10 Commandments

And the 10 Commandments whether sent from God or inspired by man are a excellent guide in order for people to remain civilized

We could use more of monastic's NOTHINGNESS and less of the secularist agenda that permeates our society today...just saying
