Humane Society of Sumter County
Let's start by stating they are not a part of the Humane Society of the US nor are they affiliated with the SPCA as noted on their web page.
Our commissioners continue to ask us to volunteer and give to the Humane Society of Sumter County. I, of course, wanted to know about their Policies and Procedures as well as where their money is going.
I requested their financials as well as their policies and procedures. They will not send me their P & P however they did send me a pee-stained copy of the 990.
Keep in mind, this is the same group that came out against us for working to go No Kill. because of our methods.
What you see is how I received it. I have done nothing to it.
