Question 12:14 Big Day for the 224 613 Project.

Love these numbers 12:14 for this date. Reminds of all the work I have put into this writing Members of Congress, Governors, publishers, CEOs, victimologists around the world, victim/witness assistance providers, librarians, lawyers, movie studio execs, law professors, American and National Bar leaders, physicians, medical associations, teachers, psychologists, gymnasts, dancers, Olympians, psychiatrists, nurse organizations, social workers, etc. all to try to get them to DIALOG about the practical information needs of survivors/victims of crimes accessible through or in libraries of all kinds.

Still need the help of Talk of the Villagers to look at what in in the libraries of your home town for those with mental illness and who might be thinking of reporting a crime. Also what is available through the law enforcement web-sites in your home town?

We have so many different home towns of people who now live in the Villages.

I have been doing this since 1991. What really made me want to think in a very large approach is the letter I got from the Law Librarian of Congress, M. Kathleen Price which said that my idea of a niche in service was a good one and accurate but that it would take the collective effort of all law librarians working together to address this gap. This letter was in response to something I had written the Librarian of Congress in 1991. Not sure about that date of M. Kathleen Price's letter of 1992. Probably from around March that year but I would have to check on Photobucket for the document. Many people saw it on Facebook. At least 15000 would be my guess as I had well over 20000 views (not unique) more than a year ago for that Photobucket collection. I had worked under M. Kathleen Price when she was the Law Library Director at the University of Minnesota Law Library.

What's in your community's libraries?

I checked where I lived for a while. Reno, Nevada. This is in Washoe County and their Sheriff's Office has many useful links. Washoe County Sheriff's Office - Northern Nevada's Full Service Law Enforcement Agency Not all of them just relevant to Northern Nevada.
