And if previous wars could submit a vote or be so unlucky to have the 24/7 coverage of today what makes anybody think there was ever a popular war with the troops?
Right, wrong or classify as you may like....being in the service is not a democracy.
One is trained to do what needs to be done or ordered to do.....no questions asked.

What the information presented above fails to present (typical media type report presenting only the piece they want known)....no where does it state what percent of the total ANY of those dollars represent. Most likely it is 20% or less for the total amount (and no doubt significantly less than 20%). And for anybody to extrapolate those numbers into a representation of how the troops feel or think is preposterous, unadulterated BULL FECES!!!!!!

It is a slap in the face to the majority of the troops (of any and all branches of the service) who are proudly serving their country without a whimper or whining.
