I appreciate you feel you need attention now but from a life and death standard you are uncomfortable (maybe extreme) but that is how they handle it. I went in there once with a temperature of over 104 and the waiting room was filled. They took my temp and promptly escorted me into the back ASAP - like it or not that's the system. You need to start learning to go to an urgent care facility first. Even your insurance is set up that way. Look at the cost of an urgent care visit VS emergency room. After that urgent care visit then you will have a better gauge of where to go. It may be wise to visit other areas hospital emergency room than here if it is not life or death. This facility is not big enough to handle as many people that live here - plain and simple.

One only needs to experience the problems at TVRH ER to realize...INSTANTLY.....THEY ARE NOT ON A TRIAGE BASIS!!!
A well run facility, hospital or otherwise are not excused to run a shabby, below par, unsafe operation "...because they are not big enough...".
The ER has been more than doubled in size with the last expansion......NO IMPROVEMENT....if not worse.
There is no excuse for a poorly run operation. Good management DOES SOMETHING about it.
Thus far TVRH administration at the highest level has not addressed the problem!
