WHY AM I VOTING DEMOCRAT?

Because I CAN and will positively NOT vote for ANY encumbants.

A lot of incumbents are not running for anything !!! Will you vote Democratic incumbents back in ? OR are you saying that Democrats = good Republicans = bad ??

I dont mean to be a wise guy, because I support a lot of what you say if you mean ALL incumbents but this thread is about a PARTY...not individuals !

I am curious actually and to be fair..my take is that voting a straight ticket in any election is lazy and cannot be based on any research or knowledge of any kind. There is no way that all Republicans or Democrats are the good guys or the bad guys. I will vote from top to bottom for whomever I think is the best candidate...one reason to get a ballot well in advance to know who they are and a bit about their background.

I voted straight party one time in my life...1960 which was my first presidential campaign and I voted straight Democratic....many of my friends from when I was active in the Democratic party years ago would be shocked to know that I voted for many Republicans also

I believe, and this is just my opinion, is that the PARTY FIRST/COUNTRY second attitude is the reason for the political climate in this country.
