You all know the real meaning of Christmas has NOTHING to do with Santa Claus or gifts under a tree. It is instead about one gift, given to all mankind by God, and that gift is Jesus. It is a gift that doesn't come and go. It does not perish or lose it's value in time. It is the gift that can lead us all to eternal life.

So in remembrance of that miraculous baby in a manger and what He represents, and in keeping with the theme of NOTHINGVILLE, here are a few things that Jesus has said, or that have been said about Him, regarding NOTHING -

“Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. NOTHING will be impossible for you.” (Matt 17:20)

"NOTHING outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.” (Mark 7:15)

"There is NOTHING concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known." (Luke 12:2)

"Through him all things were made; without him NOTHNG was made that has been made." (John 1:3)

"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for NOTHING. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life." (John 6:63)

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do NOTHING." (John 15:5)

There are many more NOTHINGS in that greatest of books, the Bible. Christ came into the world to turn all of our NOTHINGS into something. And that, my friends, is the real reason for the season.
