IMHO, you can probably get a good idea, if you look on Ebay, Google, and Craigslist for similar items. If these are truly collectables, stay away from CL, unless you are meeting the person at the police station, or an area the police has set aside for these transactions. Once you have some ideas, you can contact an antique appraiser for the actual value, and then determine the best way to proceed.
