It has worked many times. I could have also gotten a free ride from the state for disability due to mental illness if I talked too much about this 224 613 Project. Remember that Gene Coppola wanted 50% of any proceeds the Palm Harbor Library could get if they got involved in it. He saw a good thing and wanted to hijack my 224 613 Project. This was in the very first meeting I had with the man in July or August of 2000. His movie connected name also would have pushed the credit to him rather than all the work I put into that.

Coppola never treated me like I was mentally ill. Never. And he did get good things for the Palm Harbor Library for survivors/victims of crimes.

He did hit me with a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation threat when I got angry when they removed their link to the Florida Victim Services Directory. Something I had fought to get connected to libraries in FL online from 2000 up through now. They had it and then they removed a link to this Directory. Put in a link to FL Lemon Law which Coppola claimed was a link to the Directory. His reference staff said there was no longer a link. I got that Cease and Desist letter dated March 2, 2004 around March 3, 2004 via Registered Mail at my parents' house. Caused quite a fuss as my mother volunteered at the Palm Harbor Library and had many friends there. The whole lawsuit threat was based on a lie.

We got out of CoppolaVille in June of 2005. Gene Coppola was the Chairman of the Board of the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce right around then @ 2004. Moved to the Villages.
