Also, the time of the cruse has an effect on the cost. Hurricane season you can get some great discounts.
Actually, any risk is very minimal. Weather plotting is far superior to what it once was and those cruse ships are USUALLY fast enough to outrun a storm. OH AND IF IT GETS CHOPPY, THERE IS NO WAIT FOR MEALS OR SHOWS.
