I have the same heating system here in PA that we have in our FL home. Both houses are all electric. Of course, our FL home is much smaller. But even comparing utility bills with our cousins in FL, who have much larger houses, our bills up north on a monthly basis are almost always higher than theirs. Maybe one or 2 months ours is lower by like $20 or so.

So for us, moving to FL will be a big win in that sense. Maybe it depends on where you are coming from and the utility rates in your former area that makes it a different scenario for you.
