Smalldog SEZ if you put in subflooring to support storage, make sure that it is shimmed up to stay free of the wiring
............. shortly after having ours was installed (along with attic stairs) we began having electrical problems such as the one GFI would pop and would only reset sometimes in damp weather :dontknow: which of course makes no sense at all ??? so after trying the replacing off the GFI at the start of the string and after all neighborhood handymen were consulted :#1: a electrician was brought in and after several hours of scaring the blank-blank out of me :
......... he just for grins and giggles peered into our attic and found not only 2 pinched wires but also where a restraining screw had been driven into the wiring ........ one was the fault of the original construction and one was from those nice young men who put the subflooring into the
attic ......... having repaired those faults no further problems occurred ;D
