The last winter in CT was Hurricane Sandy and 3 1/2 feet of snow in one snowfall. Don't miss it one bit. In general, most people as they get older, get tired of the winters and dealing with snowy/icy weather conditions.

If one could afford it to keep two homes that would be ideal. Get away from the hot summers here and the winters in NY.

IMHO - Everyone is hesitant to make a big move but most people in TV, have not regretted it one bit. I know I love it here and would never move back to the Northeast.
