We're Number One Again!
The Villages is the fastest growing planned community in the country.
Baby Boomers are retiring at the rate of ten thousand a day and will continue doing so for the next 16 years. Florida is now the third most populous state after California and Texas and I think this brutal cold weather will make many more people think about retiring here.
People who moan about how big The Villages is getting should remember that folks will move to this area anyway and they might as well be in this well run community than adjacent to us and having the problems around us of a not well run community.
The few people who will say nay are the realtors that cannot sell new homes here and those who do not like to see the success of large companies.
Me and mine............we like it.
