Just a point here what you find on one wall may not be the same on another wall. There are many variations to where and when metal studs are used. We have a block house, and the OUTSIDE walls are metal studs. The bedroom and closet walls all appear the be metal studs. At least 2 interior walls, master bedroom and kitchen walls are wood studs, as are the knee wall in the kitchen. None block walls in the garage are wood studs.
So I stand by my previous comment, drill a small test hole to see if you have wood or metal, then use the correct wall hanger.
Hope this helps.
