I don't think I missed the point, Cabo35, you did suggest two fences as a buffalo protection solution, if a solution was wanted. I indicated I didn't think it would work.

You feel the developer should come to The Villagers and explain every move they will make, have you been reading all the objections for the project planned for that site? Every project the Morse family undertakes is second-guessed by someone, everyone has an agenda. I believe ALL of the buffalo are gone from The Villages, not just that site, because of the safety issue. Will the properties be developed yes, but if I understand you correctly, the developer should not have stated the buffalo created a safety problem. He needed to claim, that piece of property will be developed.

Unless one has witnessed the injuries those animals could have inflicted, I don't think, IMHO, we can judge the developer for removing the buffalo from The Villages entirely.
