This appears to be a direct result of their cost cutting and layoffs.. I first saw it during the rose bowl .. where I had watched a previous game on ESPN2 (wolverines loss to south carolina).. I went nuts for five minutes thinking I had done something to my TV .., then realized that the game was on ESPN .. switched to it and life was good again .. They are hyping the fact that they are covering these high profile games from numerous angles .. blah blah .. looks like they are not wasting more money on 2nd and 3rd tier sporting events any more
