I guess its no secret that I am a Biden fan--and proud of it!!

I grew up in the city of Wilmington, as did Nick (hubby). Nick's cousin is on his staff.
I've met Joe on a few occasions. Great guy.

He is a very strong supporter of Amtrak--and the stories are true, he takes the train home from Washington every night he can--which is most of the time. Everybody on the RR knows him.
Even all the worker in the shops. He makes visits quite often to talk with them.

In 1978, Ted Kennedy and Tip O'Niel tried to pull a fast one and move the Amtrak facility out of Wilmington and up to Mass. for political reason. Bad move since Wilm is in the middle of the Northeast Corridor. Joe got wind of it and needless to say, it didn't happen.
In a sense, Joe saved Nick's job.

There isn't much you can find wrong with this guy. The press is running him through the dirt, but if you listen, its all garbage. They're grabbing at straws.
