Fumar, yes, it sure DOES beat hula hoops!

I pitched and played short stop. My JCette team won the good sportsmanship award. This means we were pretty lousy, but we sure had fun! I also hula hooped.
It seems to me that any "sport" that's on Letterman with the grinder girl probably isn't a real sport? lol
And Katheryn Murray in sneakers.... shudder! :yikes:

Redwitch, it seems to be more about the show and the ratings than about the athletes, doesn't it? When we had the Olympics here I was surprised at how much control NBC had over our towns. If an event was happening on Main Street in Park City (trampolining, for example) we weren't allowed to photograph it. NBC "owned" the venue, even though it was happening on a public street.
