From a friend in Central FL who keep a close watch on weather forecasts.....barb

Well here we go again - Gustav will soon be a tropical storm.

The current track which I see is very similar to Fay (I goofed by not following Fay longer) but I did mention rain - but not a Noah flood - sorry.)

Gustav could easily have a Fay track & while it is way early I see Fay ending up in Cuba again or even further east of Cuba which will not be good .

The WX systems over the SE US will deteriorate before Gustav arrives and I am trusting that a high will develop which kicks Gustav into the Gulf of Mexico.

Saturday will be the day when we'll have some really definitive news.

I support this alert as being 55% accurate.
