Neither Mr. JoC nor I have ever lived in a new house before. We're so looking forward to it. We closed on 8/21 and will move down toward the end of September. Meanwhile, if anyone has the name of people for grass mowing and blind ordering before we get there, please pm me. I know there have been subjects on this, but right now my head is in a swirl. We hope to start a Cajun dancing group when we get settled in and I'm thinking of dusting off my baton and twirling again. Al (Mr. JoC) has sold all his woodworking equipment here and is looking forward to joining the woodworking shop in TV. We also sold our kayaks, but will rent them when we want to paddle. It will be great to have someone else schlep them. I will definitely have to find water with no gators since I usually fall in when getting in or out - such grace in motion
We both just love that there's dancing in the squares every night.
