Long Islander here, too, and my wife and I did the same thing as you: Checked out the Lifestyle Preview Plan (in December), loved the whole experience, and ended up buying a place in Fenney. We closed Jan. 12th and will be renting it for awhile. We're counting the days till we move down for good.
