Same thing just happened to me with centurylink.
I called customer service. A man told me my discounts have expired and I'll have to pay the higher monthly rate.
I said, nicely, that's not acceptable and asked to talk to his supervisor.
He transferred me to a woman that said she will renew us at the same monthly rate we've been paying, with the existing discounts in place.
Same thing happened to us last year and the year before.
I've always been nice to the people on the phone but firm that I want my existing rate or I'll go with someone else for my service.
So far, they've kept us at the same rate. It's frustrating but worth making a pleasant but firm phone call.
