I think that people should live here for at least a year, maybe two, before they shell out big bucks to have their property re-landscaped. Especially if they are from the North.

If the bushes seem sparse, just wait 18 months. I have heard valid stories of people who spent lots of money to have their property landscaped and then five years later have to pay to have plant material removed because of dense overgrowth.

In both homes, the bushes they gave us were attractive, durable through cold and heat and color balanced. I think the landscaping that comes with the homes is very good. We planted some Hibiscus for color and have three pots of Phlox on the front porch and some roses in the front beds.

Many people want palms. I can see them from our property and enjoy them from a distance.

If we all liked the same thing, they would only sell vanilla ice cream.
