The Combat Max gel includes a diagram of the recommended locations where to apply the gel. Mainly they suggest putting it in cracks and crevices, like between the stove and the adjacent cabinet.
They do not recommend putting gel inside switch plates or other electrical connections. I think they are concerned about liability issues if they make such a recommendation, but it is also not necessary. The insects who walk through or eat the gel take some of it back to the nest, which is soon destroyed.
There is something about the gel as food that attracts the roaches.
Remember: no applications of the gel where small children or pets can get to it.
I'll say it again: there is
nothing better for killing German Roaches.
