Default Re: Hillary Puts Obama Over the Top by Acclamation!

Puterguru, I think you're underestimating the impact she had with that speech on her 18 million voters. Remember the old adage "What have you done for me lately?" Well, that very much holds true in this case. When that, spliced together, video was made, she was campaigning against Obama. And her latest words "No way, No how, No McCain!" will resonate with her loyal voters. Bill Clinton's speech was stunning last night and both Clinton's will be on the campaign trail for Senator Obama. Wholeheartedly. Please don't ever underestimate the Clintons. Bill Clinton is not known as "The Comeback Kid" for nothing.

Now, people will come back and say "well, they're being self-serving". I have no doubt the Clinton's have a future plan. I also have no doubt they are stellar Democrates and will work their tails off to make Senator Obama the next President of the United States.

But, I believe it is Senator Obama, himself, that will seal the deal. With tonight's speech and the much awaited debates against John McCain. The difference between the two candidates will be vast and evident at that time. Senator Obama has to walk a fine line so that he doesn't appear to be picking on an old man, but I think the gloves will come off this time. I'm sure McCain will bring up his war record every two minutes, which when pulled apart is not stellar, just a poor circumstance. Like Biden said "A good soldier, following orders, does not necessarily make a good leader."

But from your post, I can see you couldn't rise above Partisanship and give the respect to this historic moment that it deserves. That's a shame. Good luck to you in November.
