I stated that hopefully it wouldn't eventually be converted a dump. It is not such a farfetched statement. My understanding is that Mt. Morse (also tagged as Pine Ridge Hill) on CR466A and Morse Blvd. originally was a mined out sand hill which is currently being filled up with construction, landscaping and who knows what else debris. That's where the term "landfill" comes from.
In my original home state of Wisconsin, more than 70% of the mined out quarries were/are used as dumps. Several have become Superfund clean up projects because of lack of proper lining, drainage, gas bleeding, and improper materials.
