I grew up eating avocados in various ways. They contain healthy fats, very good for the skin among other things. Guacamole is my favorite dip but I prefer it on tortilla chips rather than the recent toast trend.

The price of Hass avocados, especially the organic ones, has gone through the roof over the past year or so due to the avocado on toast fad.
Helpful hint. Retain the pit in the unused half of an avocado or in a bowl of mashed avocado or guacamole and cover it as airtight as possible with Saran Wrap to keep it from blackening. Refrigerate it of course.
