First of all, we don't know that they have 27 properties. Second, it is common courtesy to talk to the people first and not call in the Government (or similar entity) right away. Who cares what is "discoverable" it is not going to come to a lawsuit between the OP and the landlord. Common courtesy is something we don't want to lose in TV
