That is not always the case my husband has been a contractor all his life and done very well. Something to consider is the folks that don't pay and want to screw the contractor.
So when delivering the equipment at the day of installation 1/2 down is required to at least secure the items brought on the job. Unfortunately the door swings both ways my friend just a FYI.
