Even when we take her outside and tell her to go potty she won't and then she comes in and does it. Can anyone help with suggestions??? We of course tried the praise and treat right when she goes outside method. Potty pads inside work on and off. Sometimes she ignores them and sometimes she pees just off them

I suggest when your dog goes to the lanai, go out there with her or him & litterly pick your dog up & put it outside through the doggy door then block the door so she or he can't come right back in until you see your dog go to the bathroom then let the dog come back through the doggy door, then praise your dog & give it a treat. It'll soon realize that, "If I go out & do my business I'll get a praise & a treat. Just a thought!
